October 23-29, 2005: Red Ribbon Week

This week's Teacher's Guide recognizes Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23-31) during which students pledge to maintain healthy, drug-free lifestyles. We offer two related lesson plans: One examines the prevalence of drugs in schools today while the other considers the dangers of teen methamphetamine use. ALSO: We provide a lesson plan in honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.
